Buttercup
Buttercup is a spayed female and domestic shorthair. She was born in 2009 and has been with us since April 2011. Buttercup must have heard how much we spoil our clinic cats since she decided to climb the fence surrounding our backyard and wait for us at the backdoor. She is an independent girl who enjoys strolling around the clinic and keeping an eye on things. Though she won't openly admit it, she loves a good cuddle and head kiss. It's her running joke that is she half-Scottish fold due to her ear injury.

Memoriam - Esme/KT
October 2001-May 2019
KT came to us back in 2009 as a stray that was found by one of our staff members and was originally named Esme. She was with us for only a short time before she found a wonderful home where she thrived with her new mother. She had many love filled years in her new home before she came back to us in 2014 with the passing of her owner. Over the years she has done well here as a clinic cat, wondering around saying hi to everyone and trying to convince the staff to share their lunches with her. In the last year of her life she was very lovable wanting nothing more than to be picked up and snuggled for hours on end. She loved to sit on the desk in a comfy bed and sleep the day away. In her 17th year of life surrounded by all the staff that loved her so much she went to Rainbow Bridge to be reunited with her owner. She will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing such a gentle soul.

Memoriam - Peaches
August 2002-January 2019
Peaches will be missed by anyone who had the pleasure of knowing her. She spent most of her life as a clinic cat here at Simcoe Animal Hospital and over the years she has changed so much. In her younger years she enjoyed being where all the action was, from sitting out in the reception area and greeting people to helping the doctors write up their records. In her later years her favourite place was out in the back on top of the dryer soaking up all the warmth. One thing that never changed throughout her life was her love of food. Any chance she would get to steal food she took, human or animal, which is part of the reason she was a bit heavy most of her life. She will always be lovingly remembered by the staff for waiting not so patiently to jump the counters in the kitchen to take a nibble from whatever food was being prepared. She passed away peacefully on January 3rd surrounded by the clinic family who loved her so dearly. RIP Peaches you will be greatly missed.
